private Matakana villas.
Matakana Luxury is a collection of six private villas in Matakana, an hour north of Auckland. We are a small operation rather than a large resort, and that shapes everything about the way we host.
The idea was simple. Take a handful of beautiful places in one of New Zealand's loveliest corners, look after them properly, and give people a stay they remember long after the drive home.
Each villa has its own character. The Pinnacle sleeps up to nine guests across four bedrooms and suits groups and celebrations. The smaller villas are made for couples who want privacy and quiet. All of them sit minutes from Matakana Village, its Saturday farmers market, the local wineries and the coast.
