Blissful break in Matakana, highly recommended! Positive: Great location (very central) yet still very peaceful to stay in. Everything you need is there and it’s super cosy and welcoming. The outdoor bath is really special.

Overall great stay and would recommend coming here if you are in this area. Lovely little villa! Positive: We really enjoyed the stay, was a great villa to stay in and very close to the town. Bath tub, bed, kitcken and sofa were are really comfortable. Perfect for a relaxing stay. Negative: One thing I think that would make the stay perfect would be to have higher fencing, so each villa can have that privacy it requires.

Positive: Nice comfy bed and location was superb. Negative: This should be classed as a tiny unit due to the size of the accommodation! Not sure I would class it as luxury either! We stayed in villa 3 and was looking forward to taking an outside bath, however this didn't happen as where the bath is situated on the outside deck there is a fence which people on the other side can see through and backs onto a carpark so that wasn't for me! Also internet issues which we contacted the owner about and was assured by him that this never happens! We had no tv to start with when the internet did come on we could only view TVNZ on catch up! We spoke to a staff member the following day and voiced our disappointment about the no tv and internet to be told it happens all the time! We were therefore lied to! Will never stay here again for what it cost per night we can get a real luxury stay somewhere else! Not a happy customer
